Lizbeth "Liz" Martínez (she/her), is a Chicana graphic designer from the Bronx. Having struggled with mental health for over half of her life, art has allowed her to fully express emotions when language does not prevail; thus leading to experimenting with all mediums ranging from acrylic/oil paint to beading to charcoal to photography to collaging and everything in between. Her work has been displayed in galleries like The Brooklyn Historical Society, has been published in Mereological Nihilism, and has worked with clients like NYU, Brooklyn Museum, The Latinx Project, and UnLocal NY.

Liz currently works as the Designer at Neighborhood Safety Initiatives, a non-profit that works with 32 NYCHA developments across the five boroughs with historically high rates of violence. Her biggest ambition is to make works socially impactful and useful.
