St. Nicholas houses: unity for all Ground mural

The idea of the Saint Nicholas Houses Unity for All ground mural was born when the St. Nicholas NSTAT team thought it was necessary to have a space to activate and celebrate all of their neighbors. After meeting with the team, I handed over my postage stamp sketches to Artolution, and we co-created this design. Together, we painted over 3,000 sq. feet with the help of Harlem Children’s Zone students and 150+ community members. Watch a video of the ground mural launch event here.

 WAGNER HOUSES KIOSK

The Wagner NSTAT team renovated the Wagner Green Space in 2021. They wanted the community to create a wayfinding kiosk of the neighborhood while celebrating Harlem. I met with the NSTAT team on a biweekly basis to make sure they were as involved in the design process as much as possible. The kiosk is set to be produced and installed in 2023.

BROWNSVILLE HOUSES & VAN DYKE HOUSES WAYFINDING

The Brownsville and Van Dyke NSTAT teams merged their funds to create wayfinding signage around the neighboring NYCHA developments. I worked closely with both teams to make sure they were as involved in the design process as much as possible. The kiosk celebrates the neighborhood’s history and the NSTAT teams. It is set to be produced and installed in 2023.
